I rebooted lump... my screen hub & cvs, svn/trac box for the first time in almost 3 years to upgrade the cpus from 300mhz to 500mhz and try and put in some more RAM.

It's been hard for me these past few weeks. My boss Tony retired last Monday. I've worked for him for about 5 years now. I don't even really know how to talk about it other than to say he was a great leader and a mentor to me. In the end the politics of the institution did him in. It's sad. It was nice to know someone from his generation that I saw so eye to eye with. He's at least a decade older than my father, and I think at the time of my hiring [...]

Oh boy. What an experience my trip to the Apple Store was... Apple is experiencing growing pains alright. While I did walk out with what I wanted. I had to go through some shit to achieve that. This is not something I'm accustomed to when dealing with Apple.. well the apple that was anyway. This new Apple sucks. I hope they just release their OS for X86 so I can do-shit-myself.
