This is the official release page for the mg2bot 0.64.

This is the first truly tested release. This is essentially release 0.63b with the httpd code removed. mg2bot 0.63b was never released because of stability problems. Since mg2bot 0.62b was so stable:

I decided it would be best to capitalize off of that, add in the additional 0.62b compatable plugins I made since 0.62b, and release the bot as a non-beta. 0.64 is the result of over 2 years of hacking and testing. It will probably be the last release for a while, so enjoy it.

New changes:

Added tinyurl plugin
Added karma plugin
Fixed rydia plugin
Worked out a bug or two from 0.62b
First non-beta release

Please download && enjoy. Perl 5.6.1 required. LWP recommended.

Very nice uptime :).. the next version of the mg2bot will be completely detached from the mg2 user system since.. it's going away. this should make the bot much more appealing for people who want channel maintenence. plus we will have in-bot configuration and user authentication. it will be great.

I have been tinkering with it a bit.. minor bugfixes, some new plugins, and minor feature enhancements mostly.. I'll see what I can do to put everything together and do a release. We (and the original mg2bot) hang out in #mg2 on efnet.. feel free to stop in.
