I have some bad news, and I have some good news.

The good news is we're getting a badly needed overhaul to our look and feel, a complete revamp of the user system, as well as an ability for users to have a political influence throughout the tree.

The bad news is its going to take me a while to finish everything. We won't see new user applications for at least a few more weeks, and we probably wont see the sponsor tools re-emerge for a month or so.

I have some regular news too. mg2 will be 4 years old this may. yay for us!

Hmmm, i was going to email one of you guys to see about getting some sort of reference, but after reading the replys to this post i dunno if i should bother. This looks like a sweet setup you all have here tho, after trawling the web for the last 12 hours for a decient free web server with php support, i should know. Everything else is either crap service or some sort of scam. If any of you want to renew my faith in the net, mail me at daves@westnet.com.au, i'd be more than happy to answer any questions, or pledge allegiance. ;) Thanks Dave

This sucks a little. I was hoping to move my site from Netfirms over to MG2. I'll keep an eye on this place though. I've seen quite a few nice sites here.

and i start school monday! here's to hoping i find the patience to finish up at least registration and approvals this weekend. no promises though. It's a priority, but not a top one. Keep an eye on http://www.mg2.org/new

mg2.v4 is in the works... but it won't be called mg2.. and we won't offer any more shell accounts. Too small of a demographic anyway.
