I feel like my blog for the past month or so has been all about me whining about my laptop. That sucks. I'd like to say some nifty things about what I'm working on.. a quick status for SiTM (mg2.v4), and just an overall statement on the health of all things mg2:
SiTM, Social Networking 2.0 or mg2.v4 is a pretty ambitious project and lately I've been concentrating on hacking for work purposes. This has left SiTM in a near-stalled position, though it's bad to look at it like that. As soon as I'm done hacking work things, I will resume work on SiTM. I still plan on having a beta out August 20th. Though the feature set will be a minimal one I'm thinking.
LDIP (2) is a suite of scripts im working on that pipelines a data integration procedure. It's based on LDIF and right now bridges an Oracle table (Banner) with a ns-slapd based LDAP directory (Sun). It's pretty nifty. Looking to pull in some SiTM code to possibly allow for schema auto-provisioning, but that's in the future. I <3 maintenence free. You know me.
There are other things but they're small and hardly worth mentioning.
