Viewtiful Joe is the bomb.
How's that for a thesis statement? (In best Homestar voice)... Seriously you guys it's true. (end Homestar). I bought one of the last copies at EB today, and I couldn't wait to get home and play it.. and I seriously can't tell you how sweet it is to play a game .. an action game.. that at least got a FRACTION of the production effort and time it takes to create one of those half assed 3D games we see so many of.. Like Mario Sunshine.. ack.. or Blade 2.. not that Mario Sunshine sucks as bad as blade 2.. oh and there was that one game for PSX.. The Incredable Hulk which used that horrid 3d engine where your dude was centered and you could walk up and down and sideways.. sort of like a 3d-ified Festers Quest only suckier. Anyways.. back to the topic at hand. If you don't have a gamecube.. first of all.. you are retarded.. for the price of 3 ps2 games you can pick up a game cube AND viewtiful joe.. and for 20 bucks more you can get a memory card. If you are pirating your PS2 games, then for the price of 2 100 spools of decent 2 or 4x DVD's you can get a game cube and viewtiful joe.. If you are a crackhead you can quit crack for two weeks and get a game cube and viewtiful joe.
Seriously you guys... dont make me break out the Homestar voice. This game is worth it.
So here's the disclaimer.. You must have grown up in the era .. or at least appreciate the era from which games like double dragon, battletoads, and bad dudes (bad dudes sucks and viewtiful joe is nothing like it.. except.. like bad dudes, viewtiful joe has voice samples) emerged. Also it doesn't hurt to have respect for Capcom.. (Street Fighter anyone?) These guys know their 2d.. and they sure can use 3d for something useful.. scenery and visual effects! Overall, you must be able to appreciate getting your ass pummeled again and again as you attempt to memorize moves and sharpen your reflexes to dodge dude A whilst kicking dude b in the face and moving to avoid a gun shot while jumping over a .... i think you get the gist. It's just awesome that they put this much into a 2d-type game. It's so long overdue it's sickning.
Anyways.. this is my second positive rant in a while.. im going to bed!

So, what the hell is all are these sites? I don't know how I got here, and what these sights are for. I wish I knew, maybe I'd be interested. i saw someobody here really liked the movie seven. That's a fucking great movie.
