Look at this new wheel. It's just like the last wheel. It has spokes.. and is a bit clunkier in some areas and leaner in others. It has a nice tread to it.. no better or worse than the other wheels. Yes.. Kriss made a good point today. I am the reinventor of wheels. I always set off thinking I can do something just differently enough to make it cool. I always get it to the point where it can be "just like" X .. but I'm never really defining my own boundaries and applications. I'm always using some other kind of pre-existing application as a base concept. It's handy.. because you know where to work to.. it's also handy because you know the inner workings better than you ever could of another application. This enables you to tie in excellent features pretty easily. Though I'm a bit short on excellent features. Well.. not conceptually but definitely from any materialized perspective... nothing really concrete..
Though what I do have is a nimble platform.. which is more valuable than not having a nimble platform. The only thing I need to do now is USE it.. for things.. i'm really good at frameworks.. but no one ever uses my frameworks.. therefore I don't even know that I'm really good at frameworks... i only think I am... well .. I use the frameworks.. so I'm good at writing frameworks for ME... which.. doesn't help much. *sigh*.
Okay.. two posts... in a row.. from the couch during the coffee break here at BbWorld '06. I'm tired of sitting here.
