Do you think all human beings have a basic responsibility .. to do what's right? I know that it might mean discomfort, pain, or loss.. but isn't that worth it? I mean the alternative is an approach towards a hedonistic reality that doesn't seem to be the least bit gratifying. I'd much rather give my life to doing the right thing. Nobody gets anywhere by saying "oh that task is too insurmountable, I'll just get high instead". You pretty much just sit in death's waiting room with a buzz..

When death takes me, I want it to take me by surprise. I don't want to be sitting there waiting patiently for it. I wan't to die knowing that I did all that I could without hurting myself too much. I need to start somewhere. What I do now might be considered small and petty in the grand scheme... but it is epic from my perspective.

Doing something good.. is good for the soul.
