nox.mg2.org, mg2.org (free) primary is down. this is bad. this is the third time this has happened since the box has gone into the data center. Something's failing pretty hard. I'm not sure what it is. I asked the people at the ISP to tell me the status of the server to try and help deduce what exactly is happening. In the mean time, I'm sorry to everyone who has to go through this. I'm scheduling time to go out on thursday and actually take a look at the machine and see what's up. It seems to just go out without rhyme or reason... it stops pinging and never comes back up. If it's hard frozen, it might be memory. There was _nothing_ in the console logs about why it crashed last time.. and I really have nothing to go on.

I rebuilt the kernel. Our ISP is impressing me more and more. They let me know that it was a kernel panic that caused the freeze, and I went ahead and upgraded us to the newest gentoo kernel. let's see if it happens again. If so, i'm gunna guess it's hardware.
