Jon Stewart came to the Detroit Opera House this Saturday (Apr. 2). He's a funny funny man. This isn't so much a review as it is an acknowledgment of my total fan-boy status. Seriously. I'm twice the fan of Jon as I was going in to the whole ordeal. The crowd and the vibe was something really powerful. I didn't know such a crowd existed. Young, old, rich, poor... though there were no stupid people there..
Everyone laughed, everyone listened intently.. people even asked if and when he was running for president. IMO Jon is much more powerful in the capacity he's in right now. He's motivating and influencing a huge segment of our population. Maybe one of "us" will run for president. In which case he'll have "won" at least in some capacity.
Ok.. I feel like I have to be on topic for this .. and i want to wander.. so .. i'll either start another rant or talk to you all later.
